Motivation Slap ("the extension") does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data through the core extension experience. This page explains every data touch point in plain language.

Data Storage

All user preferences — saved quotes, dark/light mode, Brutal Mode setting, category selection, notification frequency, and sound preference — are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.

No Tracking In The Extension

The extension contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and no advertising code.

Feedback Form

If you voluntarily submit feedback through the website contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to Web3Forms solely to deliver the message to the developer. No personally identifiable information is required. No submitted data is retained by Web3Forms beyond message delivery. See their policy at web3forms.com/privacy.

Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts — loaded by the website for typography. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Web3Forms — message routing for the contact form only.
• Ahrefs Analytics — privacy-first website analytics with no personal data collection. Visit ahrefs.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Motivation Slap does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The extension does not have user accounts and does not require any personal information to function.

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
