no paywalls, no premium tier. It is free forever.
No analytics, no advertising SDK, and no tracking pixels. All saved quotes and preferences are stored
locally in
chrome.storage.local
on your device and never leave it. Read the full privacy policy.
Yes. All 700+ quotes are bundled inside the extension file itself. You do not need an internet
connection to read quotes, switch categories, or access your saved favorites.
Ten categories: Work, Gym, Focus, Life, Monday, Relationships, Money,
Health, Student, and Developer. Filter to one
category or browse all at once. Categories are selected from the pill tabs at the top of the quote
board.
Brutal Mode is a toggle that unlocks a subset of sharper, more unfiltered quotes. These skip polite
phrasing and go straight for the uncomfortable truth. Use it when the regular quotes are not landing
hard enough. You can flip it on and off from the extension header at any time.
Open the extension and go to the Settings tab. Enable the
notifications toggle, then enter any number of minutes between 1 and 1440 in the frequency field. Chrome
will fire a native system notification on that schedule with a fresh quote. Use the Test
Notification button to see it working immediately.
Tap the ♥ heart icon below any quote to save it. All saved
quotes appear in the Saved tab. You can remove individual
quotes by tapping the ✕ button next to each one. Saved quotes persist between browser sessions.
Yes. Toggle the 🌙 moon icon in the extension header to switch between a warm cream light mode and a
deep indigo dark mode. Your preference is saved and remembered across sessions.
Not at this time. Motivation Slap is currently a Chrome browser extension only. Check back — mobile and
other browser support may come in the future.
